The use of huge amounts of water to grow alfalfa to feed cattle has to be the lowest priority. I feel like those users could be shut off 100% without much problem.

Did you ask Becerra if he ever launched an investigation of Chevron on climate change before he left office in 2021 as Miller claims?

Knowing how slow these investigations take, it wouldn’t surprise me if Rob Bonta’s 2023 lawsuit included evidence from earlier investigations by AG’s office. Did you ask Bonta?

Hey Garry, I didn't, and fair enough that I could have. But Becerra declined repeatedly as attorney general to say anything in response to calls for him to investigate Exxon; see, for instance: https://www.latimes.com/opinion/editorials/la-ed-becerra-exxonmobil-climate-change-schneiderman-20170530-story.html. If he was in fact quietly investigating Exxon, he's done an amazing job keeping it quiet.
